Greek buttons...

A ''koubi'' is a greek button,
and recently they spoiled me rotten!
Not only did I get to go to Greece to see
my dear friend Maria and her super sweet family...
I got to visit her Grandma's old sewing store
where they had old needles, fabrics, threats and more...
I felt like I was in a treasure chest:
the selection of vintage buttons was the best!
I got to go through them and collect...
they were all gorgeous, so easy to select!
To start creating is what I want to do
and share some pictures of my creations with you!

The shop is near a cute little square,
where cute little old people,
play cute little games.
All the following takes place in
a town called ''Kilkis''.

First there is the beautiful apartment upstairs,
where grandma Theofronie (or Fofo) and her husband Anestis used to live.
Fofo now lives in Thessaloniki with her daughter,
the lovely Stathoula (my friend Maria's mom).
She doesn't remember she once had this amazing treasure-store.

Balcony of the apartment,
overlooking the square.
Kitchen cupboard,
ready for guests...
